Master Bathroom
This is not the room we planned on renovating first but somehow it happened and I’m so glad it did. Our Master bath went from being a bit outdated to one of my favorite spaces.
As you can tell by the pic below, marbles, greys and warm whites were what I had in mind.
I didn't get a lot of pics of the process, but here is what our master bath looked like when we first bought our home. It had a large jacuzzi tub which we never used along with a super small shower to the right of that. The toilet was enclosed in its own little space to the back left in the pic below. Overall, it was a bit of a tight fit with all that was going on.
The only hard decision was to get rid of that massive window. I loved the natural light and the view but when we used this space the blind was ALWAYS pulled. So we opted to have it removed. Looking back, I don't regret that decision one bit.
One thing on my list that was a non-negotiable for me in this project was antique brass fixtures. These little buggers were harder than I thought to find. I will say, we opted for Delta and they have not disappointed. Super sturdy and absolutely stunning. The color is actually called Champagne Bronze and I highly recommend them if your going for this look. I am so happy with them.
So here is the new walk in shower. We took out the little toilet room and transformed it into this beauty.
I struggled with what type of vanity to go with but I'm so happy I chose white. I love it. I did pick up the two flanking columns at a local antique shop and love how they soften the newness of this space with a soft aged look.
I'm not 100% sure that I'll keep these light fixtures but they work for now, I thought about painting them to match the fixtures. What do ya'll think?
I have a few more pics that I’ll post later but for now I hope you’ve enjoyed our progress.
Have a beautiful day and thanks so much for visiting our blog!
